Exocet is a German industrial noise band founded in 2008 by label founder, producer, and DJ René Klimaczewski (also known as Klima). Klima is known for his collaboration with Daniel Myer of haujobb on the highly acclaimed Architect work “The Analysis of Noise Trading”. While visiting New York in 2007, Klima was inspired by the late artist Dave Kean and created Exocet. Their first release, “Violation”, was released on ant-zen in 2008 and received positive reviews from the industrial noise community. In 2009, the band released their second album, “Grotesque Consumer”, which marked a darker and more somber tone, possibly influenced by the tragic death of Klima’s former muse.
